Siemens and Bilfinger to maintain Edinburgh’s light rail line for 11 more years

Author: Robert Preston Source OPERATOR Edinburgh Trams has awarded a consortium of Siemens Mobility and Bilfinger UK a £44.7m extension to their contract to maintain the infrastructure of the 18.5km light rail line running from Edinburgh Airport to Newhaven via the city centre.
